I am honoured to be invited to be one of the three panelists at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) physical event, “Let’s Talk Democracy!”, that is taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, 22nd June 2022 from 02:00 – 5:00 p.m., in Kampala.
I am preparing to share my two bits on Uganda’s political landscape, democracy and the oversight role of civil society organisations. No restrictions from KAS, except the intention that our engagement should spark a debate. By tomorrow, I will have known how to start and where to locate my contribution.
I invite you to join the conversation already. In comment to this post, what are your views on the oversight role of CSOs in Uganda. I look forward to reading from you, because I trust that your contribution shall have a positive grassroots impact on the quality of the debate.
I I am looking forward to listening to and learning from my fellow panelists, Hon. Winnie Kizza – Member of the Interim Committee of the Alliance for National Transformation and Mr. Abaas Mpindi – Founder of the Media Challenge Initiative; as well as the award-winning Mr. Solomon Serwanja, who will moderate the session.
Mr. Oliver Schenk – Chief of the State Chancellery and State Minister of Saxony, Germany, is the keynote speaker. And according to KAS, he is accompanied by 20 other delegates of Saxony.
I am privileged to be invited; it is a huge affirmation of my work and activism; and it delights my soul. I will do my best not to disappoint.
