“Backwardness” = Cultural Imperialism
As it is defined in the Cambridge Dictionary, “backwardness” means: “the state of not being developed, modern or advanced.” The concept of “backwardness” is popularly used to denigrate, among others, the cultures of African peoples from whence am descended.
