Grateful and thankful that my today started well.

I am a morning person.

When things go my way in the morning, I get want I love to do in the morning done, it sets the tone for my productivity for the rest of the day.

Today, I feel it. It is going to be a highly productive day for me.

You see, among the things I love to do in the morning is get ready that which will nourish me throughout the day and more.

Slow cooked food is my favorite food to eat.

On a good day, my start of the day will include, a nourishing session putting together a favorite slow cooked dish.

Today it was a seasoned vegetable stir fry – carrots, green peppers, onions, tomatoes and eggplants. The aroma as it slow cooked, in itself, is nourishing.

As the vegetable stir fry slowed cooked, I brewed and had a fabulous cup of coffee. The scent of coffee mixed with the aroma of slow cooking seasoned vegetables is lovely and reviving for me.

This morning, I also got to make mango juice from our indigenous mangoes, now in season, harvested ripened from our mango trees in our center gardens.

Laden with fiber (threads) they may be, they are naturally sweet and with a lovely aroma. The hassle to sieve out the threads from the juice is worth it.

And in the background I listen to informative content shared on social media. I get caught up with what is happening at home and around the world.

It is no wonder that I will feel and will be productive throughout the day, depending on my morning. No doubt, therefore, I feel the most productive in the morning – 05:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m.
