If you could have dinner with any philosopher, who would it be?
Dinner with a literary philosopher is it for me.
Am talking the likes of Okot p’Bitek, my favorite of all time, may his soul continue to rest in power.
I cannot get enough of his body of work that he bequeathed us. Especially, my favorite of them all, Song of Lawino.

What a great conversation I think it would be at dinner with a literary philosopher who already gave us the blue print of why and how to do so.
I am talking also of the likes of Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o may his soul continue to rest in Power.
Chinua Achebe and Biko Steve too.
Pioneering contributors of African descent, who effectively put our African cultures on the world stage, published by African Writers Series.
I yearn for the Africa they wrote about where ubuntu reigns for the greater good of us all.
I would definitely enjoy dinner with a literary philosopher, great conversation as we enjoy great African cuisine.
