What’s something you’d love to see in the future, but know you probably won’t live to witness?

I truly hope. And wish I am wrong on this.

Sadly, it is feasible that like all my ancestors gone past, I will never see my motherland go through a peaceful transition of power at the top.

For a while there, we held out hope that it would happen in my life time, but recent happenings have some of my countryfolk in fear that we had it all wrong,

In my life time, there has never been a peaceful transition of the administration of my motherland, from one person to another; and from one political party to another.

Moreover, each time the nonpeaceful transition happens, the incoming administration, one after the other, have focused on erasing their predecessors. Re-writing history is the order of the day.

Will there ever be a time in my mother land when the people’s will truly counts in determining leadership at the top?

I wish so, but have informed doubts that it will happen in my life time.
