I wish for the return to living within an extended family setup as opposed to the individualized and or nuclear family setups we now live in.

I wish to live in an extended family setup in which the young understand and speak the language of their ancestors.

So they can sit around the fire with elders and benefit from wisdom that can only be transferred orally down the generations through fabulous story telling.

I yearn for the good aspects extended family living afforded us, especially grounding and keeping us rooted in who we are. Knowing and being comfortable in our identity.
