Am going through a challenging time right now. But in all of it I am learning to appreciate the small wins, and which wins are accumulating. I am victorious.

It was a long day for me today. Don’t feel sorry for me. Right from the first commuter taxi in the morning to the last one this evening I met and enjoyed the company of good people. I feel victorious.

In the morning taxi, I sat next to a little girl, who was carrying her baby brother and was with another young brother. I asked her in Luganda where they were going and she said the children’s park.

When we chatted further, she said they were going there to sell mandazi. I asked where their merchandise was she said it was in the boot of the mini van. At the children’s park she and her siblings alighted with their merchandise.

Throughout today I thought about those three little children already having to go out to earn a living. My troubles became lighter. I am victorious.

Top it all, my to do list today well executed. Including pulling a rug from under that which is the source of my challenges. I am victorious.

I wish you all a good night’s sleep filled with dreams in which you are victorious.

Let’s Chat…
