Resilience and tenacity she is endowed with. Which she uses to do the greater good, and for that I admire and aspire to do as she does.
Fundraisers for charitable development interventions, surely can tell you that it isn’t easy to rebound from a rejection. With her tenacity. though, against all odds she rebounds and with resilience carries on so she can do the greater good.
When she succeeds, it is thrilling. Seeing and hearing Esteri recognized and standing on the podium next to President Museveni was thrilling. An indicator that she continues on with tenacity and resilience to do the greater good.

She was singled out in a positive way by President Museveni, who severally mentioned her name, Esteri, during his speech that he gave during International Women’s Day celebrations.
You see, during my time as part of the leadership of Uganda Change Agent Association (UCAA), Esteri was among beneficiaries and success stories of the Change Agent Training Program.
She is a 2007 recipient of the UCAA Award of Merit for her commitment and service to disadvantaged communities in Kiboga. That she was on the podium with President Museveni, means she is still tenaciously doing good.
I still have a copy of the citation I authored, on behalf of the UCAA Board, for Esteri’s Award of Merit.
