What is your favorite restaurant?

Just been thinking about it and I really could not name a favorite restaurant. I must admit that I am one of those who when I like a particular food in a particular restaurant, every time that I go there I pretty much as for the same food each time.

However, I think I gravitate towards restaurants that serve food that I can understand on the menu and on the plate ha ha ha.

Increasingly, our African cuisines are disappearing from our tables as our food systems are decimated via cultural imperialism, backed by economic power to dominate what is available on market stalls.

And so, whenever I have the opportunity of choice and there is a good restaurant serving food that I can relate too on the plate and on the menu, such as House of Olel, I will choose to it.

Ugandan cuisine at House of Olel Restaurant in Kampala – Matooke (cooking banana), sweet potatoes, millet ugali, fish, beef, assorted vegetables. And all this was served for two!
