Over the years, I have gotten good at appreciating the wisdom of how my papa, the chief now rested, raised me. His legacy lives on in me.
In a settle way, I realize now, he emboldened me to appreciate the age old wisdom encoded in the phrase:
“However much a chicken cries, it is not going to change the eagle’s attitude.”
I journey on, perfecting my skill to know when to avoid a ‘drag down’. That sometimes it is best to ignore those with a ‘chicken attitude’.
For, what would be the point of lowering oneself to their level of being “limited in their thinking, ambition or perspective?”
I strive to operate at the level of an eagle, embracing my “natural talent for greatness, a vision beyond the ordinary, determined to achieve my full potential.”
I cultivate my lion’s attitude – to exude an indomitable spirit, embodying confidence and courage.
In all that I do, I ground it in truth and excellence.
The reason I am confident, my legal team, Okalang Law Chambers, with Counsel Allan Ogoi in the lead, are well prepared for commencement of my Civil Suit 18 of 2022, starting this Friday, 30th May, at High Court Holden at Mbale.
Mediocre is not a term I want used and or associated with anything that I do and or is about me.
Yes, when mediocrity is targeted at me, I rise above it.
I refuse to engage with it and I challenge the afflicted to elevate and find me at the ‘eagle space’ soaring high.
There are those who will forever be unable to attain ‘eagle heights’. I appreciate that. And because I do, I know not to allow them to drag me down.
