I am in a good mood!

It has been a good week and generally a good month. For a while now, since my papa rested in 2020, I have not had such good fortune during my birth month as I have had in August 2025.

The best feeling ever is to be happy at work.

I am all smiles for everything so far is going well as we implement the first phase of the joint CPAR Uganda and Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR) Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre Human Development Project. And as we up our game in online fundraising on the GlobalGiving Platform.

Guess what, after a protracted struggle for justice, my civil suit on the malicious damage of my orchard is off the ground. A couple of days ago, my ace legal team, Okalang Law Chambers, with the most perpendicular Counsel Allan Ogoi as first chair, were at High Court Holden in Mbale and have updated me thus:

  • Conferencing was done with the defendant’s legal team and a judicial officer.
  • Schedules were made and agreed on by all parties.
  • Within the next three weeks, my team will submit to Court our witness statements, so they are on official Court record.
  • The other team will have three weeks to respond and also submit their witness statements, so they are on official Court record.
  • The next date when the case comes up for mention has been set in October.

There is no turning back. I hold my hopes high that the judicial officers handling my case now are the opposite of the first one who derailed it and under curious circumstances attempted to kill it. I hope the current judicial officers are of the “Dinosaur T-Rex Enforcer of Criminal Justice” variety.

One response to “Happiness through and through”

  1. That’s beautiful to hear 💫🌸. After the pain of loss, feeling joy again is a blessing in itself. May August 2025 be just the beginning of many more months filled with smiles, peace, and abundance for you. 🌷✨
