Whenever I get the chance I absolutely love to walk in nature.
I love to take nature walks that take me to water fronts from whence I can peer into the water and be nourished by the greatness of the wonderful world in which we live.
It is humbling and calming to know we are a tiny part of something amazing and much bigger than we are.
I don’t know where this (profiled picture) is, but it looks like an ocean somewhere on earth. Yes, I am loving the changing screen savers on my computer.
I think it is is each day or every after two days I get a new surprise when I open my computer. Loving this feature!
Yes, you have probably worked it out, I don’t often get to do my favorite form of physical exercise, and so I make do with virtual exploration of it.
My second best nature walking is in a forest. Kind of “forest bathing, a Japanese practice of immersing oneself in a forest atmosphere and mindfully using all senses to connect with nature for relaxation and improved well-being.”
Sadly, increasingly the places to walk in the forest are disappearing real fast in my motherland. Replaced, by structures defined “modern” and or “modernization.” Awful, awful things, from which I believe our net health benefit is negative.
I digress, back to today’s daily writing prompt. Now that I am unable to do my favorite nature walks, and at my age, I love it when I do a 10 minute session of stretches. Each morning I do so, I am rejuvenated and energized for the day.
A blessed Sunday to you all!
