At his campaign rally on-going current at Lira City, Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, the incumbent, has been assured that the people of Lango will deliver for him the highest percentage of votes in the 2026 presidential elections.
Ebe his performance in the 2026 elections in Lira City and in Lango will be the best, they have assured him. They are even making mock announcements of his 2026 election win declaration.
High level politicians of Lango, who are members of NRM, in their speeches referring to him as their father and welcoming him home.
The venue of the rally is not too far from the city residence of President Dr. Apollo Milton Obote, now rested. If the party president of Uganda People’s Congress, Hon. Akena, is home, he surely can hear the speeches.
