What snack would you eat right now?

Fruits are my favorite snack. Easy to put together in our part of the world.

It astonishes me the cost of fresh fruit in other parts of the world.

I feel blessed to live here in our motherland, where we have fruits growing in our front yard garden all year round.

Right now we have plenty of jack fruits and lemons ripening in our front yard garden.

I see from fruit stalls and fruit hawkers here in the city, mangoes are back in season. As for melons they seem to be on the stalls all year round.

And sweet bananas too, especially the small sweet ones (sukali ndizi), are available all year round. It is amazing the gifts of organic fruit and other freshly harvested food we have access too.
