My dear,
I pray that you still have all your teeth.
I pray that you are still able to read and write for yourself and do not have to rely on others to do so for you.
I pray you are sitting at your Alinga Farms farm house surrounded with fabulous nature with all its accompanying sounds and aroma.
I pray your food forest at Alinga Farms is fully restored and you are in full constructive possession of it.
I pray, yes, I pray that you won the legal battle emphatically and conclusively.
I pray that your contribution to the greater good is recognized and appreciated.
I pray that you are considered to have carried on the great legacy of she whom you were named after, Ajakait Alinga Joyce Mary, your paternal grandmother.
I pray that you succeeded in continuing and keeping the legacy alive of the two most important men in your life – your papa and your mentor.
That about sums it up, but for sure I will write again soon after I have had a chance to reflect some more.
And when I do, I hope that it will be a celebration of lessons learned the hard way, but which I had the courage to follow for the greater good.
I am keeping hope alive for your longevity.
