Daily writing prompt
What do you wish you could do more every day?

I love it when I wake early morning with peace of mind. It is 5:00 a.m. and I am consciously aware and appreciative of the gifts of nature that surround me.

I hear birds chirping, the sound of light winds raffling tree leaves of the giant trees at our center in the middle of the city; and I smell the scent of the earth soaked by rain the night before. Other than the sounds of nature, it is quiet.

I put the kettle on and make a cup of coffee. Off to my desk I go.

I scan my social media accounts and therein I find leads for stories to fact check and delve in a little more. I am intrigued and go on a fact finding spree. My findings motivate me to write a blog.

But, wait a minute, haven’t I written on this topic before?

I check and yes, indeed, what I wrote years ago remains relevant. And that is the beauty of fact-based blogging.

Two decisions to choose from:

Should I update the blog post prior written?

Should I write a completely new blog post?

Either way, that I get to blog early morning is something that I would love to do more of everyday.
