What is the best concert you have been to?
The first concert of late Lucky Dube, live in Kampala is it for me.
To this day I am happy I broke out of my recluse mode and attended that concert.
To this day I vividly remember the moment Dube sang his song “The Prisoner”
It was electrifying hearing the lyrics sang live, accompanied with the dance moves and nonverbal communication. And the sound system was to die for. Wow!
Decades later, sadly, the lyrics of “The Prisoner” continue to hold the more true.
Speaking of truth. Truth be told, as a matter of fact, I think that Dube concert is the only one I have ever attended of that magnitude.
Continue to rest in power Dube, your legacy lives on.
