We all need affirmation and our spirits lifted. This right here did it for me:
“I first heard of the late Engineer Owaraga from my father. We were having a conversation on the prominent persons in Pallisa. My father until now refers to him as Chief Engineer. May his soul rest in peace.
I also got to know you, Norah Owaraga, while my father and I listened to Spectrum, a show that aired on Radio One. My father on hearing you introduce yourself, he smiled and said that is the daughter to Engineer Owaraga. We always listened to Spectrum until you left. We still listen though.
I am happy I follow you on social media and much recently you followed me as well on X. I am almost living a dream. Like Engineer Owaraga, I am also pursuing a Bsc Civil Engineering at Makerere University.”

Papa’s legacy truly lives on 💃🏽💃🏽💪🏿!
“Your legacy is the sum of the personal values, accomplishments, and actions that resonate with the people around you. It’s how you made a difference in the world, whether that’s building a Fortune 500 company or always putting a smile on peoples’ faces.”
Elizabeth Perry in “Leaving a Legacy: How to Make a Lasting Impression.”
Many who knew papa still think highly of him. I am delighted that some of his legacy that lives on is reflected and seen in me. Some who knew him, including those whom I have never met or knew before he rested, often lift my spirits when they recognize me as his daughter, because in deed and action I reminded them of papa. For example an ardent follower of my blog wrote:
“He lived a good, influential life as you demonstrate so well every day – not just here on this blog. Keep his legacy alive and pass it on. Peace.”

Many have even gone the extra mile to assist me, in honour of my late father. My I continue to be worthy.
