While you are quick to embrace, adopt and insist on being referred to “honorable”, it would be nice if you actually earned it.

Food for thought

This baseline for the 11th Parliament sadly continues to hold true. Some of you now in the 12th Parliament were also in the 11th Parliament, de facto in your last term of officer you did not earn the accolade “honorable”.

You can do better

Members of the 12th Parliament, you can do better.

I implore you to genuinely earn the accolade “honorable” by emulating and implementing some of the promises made to his constituents by one of your own, Hon. Akorikin Francis.

I happened upon video recordings of Hon. Akorikin on social media in which propositions members of parliament to look inward and reduce costs on them borne by the nation.

Savings from reduction of say, the bloated salaries of members of parliament, Hon. Akorikin proposes redirected to local governments to deliver services to the people.
