I feel blessed living in my home country, where we have access to fresh fruits all year round.

Generally, fruits are seasonal and are plenty in season.

However, in general, all fruits are available all year round in Uganda.

We have lemon trees that give us lemon fruit all year round.

Our mango fruit trees give us mangos seasonally. I love, love mango season. And absolutely love the mango fruits from our trees. They are of the indigenous fruit trees. The ones that are fiber laden and really sweet,

Bananas are my daily bread. I eat bananas every day I think. And on many days I eat multiple. Plenty are available from the farmers markets all year round.

Oranges, tangerines, jack fruit, name it, we get to enjoy fresh organic fruit each day in Uganda. One of the major reasons I love living here.

And there is more.

I truly believe I have benefitted healthwise.

I feel I get better digestion, when I take lemon grass and mint tea. Using lemon grass and mint growing in my front yard garden.

I am no medical doctor, but I know for sure that my heart is doing well, considering my age.

I feel a bit overweight and so for the past year on so, I have been working on loosing some. I take hot lemon water, every morning on an empty stomach. Fresh lemons from our lemon trees are enabling me achieve my goals.

Hibiscus sabdariffa tea is a great source of health benefits for me. I honestly believe it helps with supporting and strengthening my immune system.

Overall, I feel I have stable energy.

Happy and in good health.
