The first ever blog post on The Humanist View was published on 27th July 2014, under the title: “Uganda’s 2014/2015 Budget is a Recipe for Food and Nutrition Insecurity.”
Its title has since been modified to: “2014/2015 Budget & Food Insecurity.”
It was well received then, as for example Charles Matege commented:
“Norah, thanks for the post. I cannot agree with you more. The budget in question is not intended to enable grassroots development and empowerment.”
The issues raised in the first post, remain relevant in the context of Uganda today and globally as well.
