My first ever blog post was first published titled “Uganda’s 2014/2015 Budget is a Recipe for Food and Nutrition Insecurity” and is now titled “2014/2015 Budget & Food Insecurity.” It was published on 27^th July 2014. It was generally well received.  One of my followers, Charles Matege, at the time wrote:

“Norah, thanks for the post. I cannot agree with you more. The budget in question is not intended to enable grassroots development and empowerment.”

The issues raised in my first post, remain relevant in the context of Uganda today.
