“The Alliance for National Transformation Party has nominated Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu as its Presidential Flag Bearer having been un-opposed.”
Alliance for National Transformation Party
President Yoweri Kagutta Museveni is seemingly also going to be fielded unopposed by his party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM); and which is currently the ruling party..
Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu is apparently also being fielded unopposed by the movement that he heads, People Power.
Media reports are buzzing about the possibility of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) fielding Colonel (Rtd.) Dr. Warren Kiiza Besigye Kifefe, likely unopposed.
There are also a couple of independent candidates that have declared their intentions to vie for the presidency.

One is weary with this unopposed business.
